CHIEF DESIGNER/OWNER:
Joy Real is a freelance Graphic Artist originally from the beautiful Island of the Philippines. Currently, she is in Montreal, Quebec for her web design education.
Her artistic skills are rooted from her childhood. She enjoyed painting, sketching, and drawing houses when she was still very young.
During her college years, she pursued Civil Engineering with high hopes that she would land a high paying job that an artist would not have. Years after that, she became a licensed Civil Engineer and joined construction companies in Cebu City. After her job as a production engineer, she joined the BPO companies as Technical Support Representative serving American companies like Time Warner Cable and HP. Her love of people and customer service made her one of the top agents in their company.
She got into Odesk last 2010 when a friend of hers told her about earning big while working at home. She later realized that her love for the arts is much greater than any other job in the world, so she quit her job, and worked at home.
Joy never had any formal training in the field of graphic arts but landed as one of Odesk's top contractors in the Philippines. When the Odesk team went to Cebu last November 2012, she is one of those few invited to the gathering.
She is a firm believer on what Steve Jobs said that "The only way to do great work is to love what you do."
